No response with Hitec Lynx 3D

I've got power. full battery for reciever and radio. servo's and reciever battery are plugged in correctly to the reciever (Hitec DCX dual conversion).. however, no signal transmits. I've been using the same one crystal for the reciever for a year or so, and haven't had problems. Now, after a little while of time to sit on the shelf, no signal. weird?

also.. direct servo control has no control either! My DSC cord was plugged into the transmitter, radio on, servo's plugged into reciever. nothin. interesting!

c'mon you r/c junkies, help a brotha out! could it possibly just need a new reciever crystal?

Have to ask, are you switching the correct switch? The upper one just turns the unit on with no signal transmitted.

Does the tx turn on when you plug the DSC in? It should come on automatically. If the DSC doesn't work soemthing is wrong, even if the crystal is bad the DSC should work.

yeah, im correct about the actual on/off switch and the display switch. good call though. and no, the tx does not turn on when i plug in the DSC cord... maybe its time to send it to a doctor at Hitec...

Yes, I think you will have to send it in. You should try different crystals first just in case. But even if the crystals fix the problem soemthing is still wrong with the DSC connection. Also email Hitec's customer service before you send it in, they might be able to help.
