Your first car? Electric. After that or maybe one more go with nitro.

Get an E-maxx its like about the closes to a nitro truck you can get without it being nitro.

Go with what ever the heck you want, go with a popular car, or one that just looks good, this is YOUR car to buy, so go out, do some research, then post a new thread, ask about certain cars, and who has had exoerience with them, and what they thought, then, take that info, apply it where needed, and pick.

I guess I'd say if you're gonna race it, go with electric. If it's just for "bashing" nitro might be a little more fun.

Electric would be better to get to understand how they are built and operate and to practice driving with a bit slower car. Also unless you do research and go watch them run you can really screw up a nitro engine if you don't know how to tune them. Electric doesn't have this prob. just pop in a battery and go. The E-maxx would be good cause its about the closes thing to nitro than actually being nitro and you can start in first gear which isn't real fast then once you get the hang of it you can go into second gear for more speed. You will have more fun with electric in the beggining of your hobby cause you won't have the headache of your cars not starting and running right. Just somethin to think about.
