Im somewhat of a newbie, and am throwing this out to see if i can get a little help.. Thanks if you do. I had an RC10GT for 2 years and replaced/upgraded many of parts, but the truck was mostly trouble free. So feeling comfortable, I went out and bought a GS Truck. Well Im thinking so far a BIG mistake. Now keep in mind I dont go all out and drive it like hell, Im pretty conservative from what others would say whom own different trucks. But within 2 weeks, I have replaced both Servos, wheel rings(lost due to tire falling off and a weak bump), and body mounts to name a few.
Now I have another issue, i took a decent jump over a dirt hill, it landed on its top. Didnt think nothing of it cuz it kept on trucking, well a few minutes later, it took off full throttle(had to chase it down) without me even giving any throttle on the remote. However I did still have control of the steering, and it would idle down a bit if i went full brakes. Took it home, cleaned it up real nice, checked all wiring/ carb/... Nothing looked out of place or out of shape. So I put it up a few days, brought it back out, ran it for a few minutes and the same full throttle/no control with remote. A few weeks went by, I decided to give it another shot, well now The remote produces no response on the truck, NEW BATTERIES were installed and nothing.
So before I go out and buy new radio, is there something i should check? And if I should buy a new one, what do you all recommend.
Thanks for taking the time, sorry i made it so long, just figured i would give all the facts I could to help.
