This prop kept the bow up but it also loaded the engine way to much. I back cut it and now it should free up some rpm and some speed too.
It's an X470/3. (was an X470/3 :D )

Post those again. I'd like to see them up close.

Btw,... haven't you read over at Jims about the Octura props being real high in Berrylium ? Was told that ABC props had no BC in them, till someone proved that wrong. I'm scared to death to work on anything besides the Stainless now.

Be careful.

Isn't that the reason the packaging on the Octura BC props say "WET SAND TO FINISH, DON'T DRY BUFF TO POLISH" or something along those lines?

The berillium props aren't that bad, if you wetsand them. The berillium adds strength to the prop, and as long as it is wetsanded, it shouldn't have much dust that you can breathe in.

I've read on other forums and have dug into it a bit deeper.... it 'causes cancer'.

Scares the hell out of me.

btw, props look sweet. Hope they run good for you.

It might be the Colbalt in the props also that they are worried about too. The cancer that I might get from smoking will probably get me before the props do!
