The following pic is of the Bellanca my
father finished a few weeks ago from
RC Microflight downloaded plans. The following is the equipment used:

GWS DXD from Toddsmodels
GWS 12-8 Prop
7 cell (GP280) Nimh pack
MPI MX6800 RCVR
CS10BB Servos
T/O weight is about 9oz

The airplane flies about 8-10 minutes on a
charge. It is a very good flying bird!

VERY COOL!!

Mine has a DX-A, a JMP 050 speed control, a GWS reciever, a 7 cell pack of 600s (lots of flight time!) and two pico servos. AUW is 8.5 oz. Flys like a dream!!! So easy to.

Thanks....Buddly6, What prop are you running on the DXA? You're running 600 nicads, right? Do you have any idea of your current draw? We haven't checked ours....

Thanks for the info....We're not new to modeling or RC, but we are new to this micro-electric flying and it has been a challenge.
But it is fun!

I am using the GWS 10x4.7 prop and am unawhere at this time of the current draw, all I know is that I'm flying this thing at 1/2 throttle each flight for the whole flight http://www.rcmicroflight.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks B6....I think I'll pull the DXA and
10-4.7 I'm flying on the J3 stick and try that... We're having to fly at about 3/4 throttle using the DXD and a wattage ESC.
I also have one of the MPI speed controls which may be worth a swap check too. (it
weighs less than a gram) I'll let you know how that works....
