What is the diffrence in the turns on the motor 10 15 etc and single and double turns? i'm gonna start building an electric on road car but i have no clue about the motors. And another question is it possible to run a car with 2 motors? will it help the top speed?
thanks

Welcome to the boards! First of all the number of turns like 10 or 15 is how many times the wire has been wrapped around the armature. Winds as in single or double is how many strands of wire has been wrapped. Say if you have a 10 turn double then you have 2 strands of wire wrapped around the armature 10 times. The lower the turn the faster the motor is. So an 8 turn is faster than a 19 turn. There are some cars that use 2 motors but that doesn't make them faster, is for bigger trucks so the can get going faster because of their wieght.
