I logged in fine, it must be your connection. Hey look I've still got $30 I forgot about . . . :D

Hate their method of advertising before you get to the account page though . . .

You can't log in like that... You have to log in from the homepage.
I don't use paypal, but that looks like what the problem is. Just log in from their homepage like thunderbt3 said..

I hope you didn't get that link from an e-mail asking you to log in and update your profile or change your password. There are hoaxes like that all over the place that will record your data so someone else can log into paypal and essentially steal from you. To avoid the chance of anything like that happening always go to paypal's home page.

Lower your Internet Explorer security settings under Tools then Internet Options

AH! This is different. Have you tried installing the security certificate for that site? I don't remember the exact steps, I've had it happen before, but I think it's when you get the warning you view the cert, then find buttons to install it on your comp.

What browser anyway?

Offhand if it's MSIE, you can try this: Tools->Internet Options->Security Tab-> Trusted Sites, type in https://www.paypal.com, click Add. You may also want to add https://paypal.com without the www.

If that doesn't work, you can go in to Tools->Internet Options->Content, and click Certificates, see if you can figure something out in there.

I didn't want to mention this but spyware can screw you up too, are you running some sort of anti-spyware software? Spybot Search & Destroy is probably best, even better than AdWare.

I run both Adaware and Spyware because they each pick up slightly different things.

I work for an ISP, our tech support says spybot is the best freebie.

Actually you need adaware and spybot. Each one doesn't catch everything, you need both to better catch all.
