Very unique, but not sure how well it would go considering it wont rev nearly as high as ordinary electric motors..

Some of his claims are obviously false. For example, I laughed when he said Graupner Speed 700's will outperform brushless. In the limited sport hydro boat racing class, that is the only size used, and they are slower than any BL powered boat out there. I wouldn't believe his claims, but, it's a neat idea.

Wow...
Savage shocks, arms, and from what I can tell, bulkheads and diffs.
Mammoth body and bumper.
Nitro Quake wheels and tires.
All rigged up 2gether...well..it's huge. Shoulda skipped the dual EVX thing and gone straight to BL, and shoulda run some Big Joes instead of the Duratrax wheels and tires, but otherwise it looks like a solid truck. Wonder how it holds up to abuse. I'm kinda thinkin that no matter how thick those towers are, they're not gonna like a bad landing much because of their height...and that chassis doesn't look all that strong to me. The Savage front and rear end is as strong as any truck's for sure...and the Mammoth front skid will take a lot of abuse...but the rest of the truck is a bit more questionable.

I wonder how well the DeWalt 820 motor works, it sounds like an interesting idea.

I have some o them 700's...your doing well if they rev beyond 13,000 RPM on 14.4v....he has the conversion geared up as high as it will go to claim those speeds......I cant imagine its really that fast. its a cool idea tho....
these motors are torquey for small brushed motors, but most good BL systems will eat it alive for pure pace. I have heard the graupners arent actually much better than stock titans for speed....

my friend has their 820 conversion in his emaxx and its awsome. it takes a few feet for the motor to spool up but then its balsitic and it does wheelies liek crazy. but it lacks a slipper and it kills spurs easily. they have good ideas but dont exicute them very well.
yes their dual 700 system can out run BLs- but not insane ones. but they dont run very long at all- id much rather have a BL sytem any way- 2 evx;s- $240 2 700's- about $80. only a little more and you can have a real Bl system.
the average 750 isnt much faster then the titans but the grapners should be much faster. but you also need to gear up. im going to try a single grapner in my emaxx with a tmaxx tranny, single and 2 speed. hopefully that will be good :)
