which monster truck should i buy ???

hi i have just joined and am wanting to get a 1/8 th scale nitro truck .
which one should i go for ???
im interested in the savage as this seems popular but unsure whats better or the differances between the 25 and the ss ??

are there any other similar trucks i should look at around this price range

I've been tangling with the same question. I find the Revo very interesting for all of its innovative features, the fact that it comes with just about everything you need (radio, servos, rx pack and charger, the ez-start system, etc). However, most of my enjoyment in this hobby comes from building the car, troubleshooting it, and seeing it run and work properly for the first time. I just don't think I could break down and get a RTR truck, so this pretty much leaves only the Savage SS.

A lot of this depends on what you want to do with the truck, what you think a truck should be, and what you want out of it. If you *have* to have a kit, the SS is it. If you *must* have bar none the most unbreakable chunk of lead out there, its all about the Savage. If you want something tough, yet raceable and easy to work on, look to the MGT. If you want something that's nimble look at the T-Maxx. Tech breakthrough? Revo. Just the biggest dang thinng you can get your hands on? LST. There's more out there, but those are the popular ones.
