wanting a new truck

what should i get. should i get a 1/8th or 1/10th. i want a truck that will take a lot of abuse as the one i have at the minute breaks a lot. i want something with low end grunt and one that can be jumped easily.
is the revo a good truck? or is it underpowered?
is it worth going for a savage?

There is not much of a difference between a 1/10th and 1/8th. The REVO is a great truck. Which truck you buy and think would be best is up to you. Everyone thinks the truck they have is the best. I would not recommend the Savage, just my opinion.

Why wouldn't you recommend the Savage. If you're just bashing, the Savage would easily be the truck to get. That's what it was made for. It's got much longer travel, it's much bigger, and it's much tougher. The Savage is pretty much indestructable. That's why it's so popular. You should also look into the Monster GT. That'll give you a way of hardcore bashing and can be race-ready if you want to.

If you're going to race, the REVO would probably be your choice. It'll definitely be much faster around the track. The savage is definitely NOT a truck for races

how do you find the revo? is it well powered? how well does it hold up to the knocks and bumps.
sorry for all the questions. one reason for considering the savage is they are meant to be fairly hardy and theres a lot of upgrades and options. how are the upgrades for the revo?

The Savage is designed to be the most indestructable truck and to do insane jumps, but it is not for hardcore racing. If you are interested in racing then you should get the Revo or the MGT. I'm sure there will be plenty of upgrades for the revo in the future. If you don't plan on racing professionly though, I think the savage would be the way to go.

I would argue that the MGT is just as easily bashed as the Savage. The bumpers can be pretty weak but that's the only weak spot I've found. Here's some proof.

yeah for bashing i would reccomend the savage or mgt, they both are good for bashing, and the mgt can be raced, but both trucks are good bashers. you should check out slapmafro.com they have lots of videos with them bashing savages. if you do get a savage i reccomend doing the diff mod.

all those trucks are great BUT do not forget the greatest truck made the losi LST it can be a backyard truck take all the stress,change the tires and you have a race truck you have more range of gears its a 2 speed with high and low range.witch comes out to 4 gears unlike any of the other trucks witch are only 2 speeds.I know this is just my opinion but i own all these trucks and the lst is my favorite truck
