Hi,
The value would depend on several things. Is it an AM system? Hard to tell from the pictures. If it is fairly old, is it on a modern numbered R/C channel with a gold sticker indicating it has been checked for frequency? If it is more than 5 years old, the batteries likely need replacing. All of this must be factored into the potential value.

it got a gold sticker 'ripmax models No:G79754'
digital proportional r/c system.
On band 4 - 27.145mhz
there are no batteries, but no mention of them included in instructions.
does this help
thanks peeps!!!

Hi,
I am not one to set values, but that frequency is now illegal, so the two main applications would be a collector, or someone wanting spare parts. Why not list it as a thread in the For Sale section?

Hi,
I am not able to give you a price to work with, too many variables. Perhaps you could use the best offer option?

The 27 Mhz band is still legal for use in the US. It can be used for either ground or air use, however use for A/C is not recommended.
The 27 Mhz frequencies were part of the old FCC Citizens Band (CB).
Since the advent of modern cell phones the CB craze of the 70's has pretty much gone away although the truckers still use CB and there's still a chance of interference.
I still have an old (70's vintage) HeathKit I built and I still use it for my sailboat.

What did you mean about the frequency being illegal? I use it for my RC cars along with several other 26/27 meg crystals. Thanks.

Hi,
Nobody said that 27 mhz was illegal. It is completely legal in the US. With powerful CB units still around, it might be risky flying a large, powerful airplane on that band.
