If you haven't already seen it, check out our home page or Hot News section for uncensored pics of Losi's new Triple-XNT truck. It looks like the nitro truck wars are heating up!
Steve, how fast does the car go? I've got an itch in my back telling me to get one. Is it worth the money?

You got that right. I can't wait until Traxxas debuts their NR One. It looks like a killer upgrade for the Nitro Rustler. The press says it is fully hopped up!
Chuck, NR one? I never heard of that product coming out from Traxxas. You told me that I could find it in the July issue of RCCA magazine, but I never found it. What page is that in???

It is actually in the first few pages of the R/C Car or Xtreme RC magazine for June or July. July I think. I have the magazine, but don't remember exactly which one. It looks awesome though and will come with full ball bearings, and chrome wheels. It might be the R/C Car magazine with the T-Maxx on the cover. It has a reg NR One decal on the side. I would think that a Nitro Rustler with all the trimmings and hopups would go way faster than 38 MPH. All I know is that I was astounded when I first drove my regular Nitro Rustler at full speed. I rarely ever apply full throttle to mine because the speed is so great where I run it. I run it at a BMX track that some kids by my house have set up. The track has a rutted uphill, a sweeping banked left, a bumpy downhill and a couple of hairpin turns and one high speed straight that isn't very long so I can't apply full throttle there either because I have to set up for the second hairpin which is sandy. Needless to say I often run the truck there for a couple of hours at a time. The Nitro Rustler can only get better if all of the hopups on this prototype truck (NR One)are made available as add-ons to the regular truck. If not, I will buy one as soon as it comes out!!!Shhhhhh, don't tell my wife though.

Chuck - word is they won't be making that truck. I'll double check, but that's the latest I've heard.

Man, that will be a bummer if they don't! I was looking forward to seeing a tricked out truck by Traxxas. Any reason as to why? Hey all you Traxxas fans out there, let's start a letter (e-mail) campaign to get the NR One in production, what do you say?
Chuck, I'm with you man! I'll e-mail them right now.

Hey, Yes this would be an awesome truck. Although, I don't think they have a big enough market for it. (or so they think) Traxxas released a sorta tricked out Rustler type truck called the SRT. I don't think they liked the response they got cause I dont know of anyone who has one of these. So I assume they feel that anyone wanting a tricked out truck is gonna go for a Team Associated or Losi, and that their costumers are mostly new to the hobbie, thats why almost all their cars come RTR, and Prebuilt. Well thats what I think, get a petition going. I'll sign.

Guys - don't get all wound up - word has it there are working on other things (what I don't know) that are better than what they had initially planned. Stay tuned...

Waahhhooooo. Maybe traxxas is working on a T-maxx 2 or something. Hopefully it will be good. Steve, any updates would be helpful. Thanks.
