Here it is. I finally finished the thing. I am powering it with a standard GWS DX-A running off an 8 cell 150mAh Nimh pack. Radio setup is a GWS R4P receiver, two hs-55 servos and a GWS 2amp esc. I have only run it up and down my street as the wind is gusting too much. I will take it out tomorrow morning before the wind starts up and fly it. I'll keep all posted.

Looks great! What was your final weight?
Let me know how the GWS powerplant works. If it's a viable solution a tiny will be on my must-have list.

Thanks,
Al

I had to fly it! I went over to the field and fired her up with a 6 cell 270mAh battery pack, I have not soldered the connector on the 8 cell yet... With six cells it flies ok. Not great! Just ok! I made a couple turns and tried to trim it out but I ran out of down trim. I made a couple more turns and decided to see what she could do. I pulled full up and full right to see how she would roll. One complete roll and 20 feet in height she made it through. I won't be trying that again on 6 cells. With an extra cell it would fly great. I think I need to work on the CG a bit, Seems a bit nose heavy. I'm going to take itout tomorrow morning and see how she does with a fully charged pack. I'll let ya know how it went.

Allen, The GWS drive is an excellent unit for this plane. If you decide to build one I would use either a 7 cell nicad pack or an 8 cell Nimh pack. I am using this drive in my Herr Ryan ST Conversion and a Mini IFO... I have seen some people fly with eight cells with these motors but I have not been as lucky...
