Hi Guys:
I'm not equiped to post photos here but if anyone is interested, my brother has added a few pictures of my latest micro to his website. He has listed the wing area at 80 sq. in., however the correct figure is 64 sq. in. I still need to make some thrust adjusments, but the maiden flights were very successful and I'm pleased with it so far. Here is a link to my brothers site:

James:
The equipment is: GWS receiver with magnet wire ant. The connector block was removed and replaced with JST connectors. The JST connector is available from David Lewis at www.homefly.com (http://www.homefly.com) and is the same as used on the WESTEC servo. These modifications reduced the receiver to a little less than 4 grams. The ESC is from Bob Selman: http://www.bsd.domainvalet.com/
Its model BSSC100 and I wired it direct to the receiver. The ESC is mounted on top of the RX buy the way. The RX, ESC package weighs about 6 grams. The actuators are 120 Ohm B.I.R.D. units from Cloud 9. They are driven by the Lahti DPC board also from Cloud 9. The motor is a mabuchi M20 from toytronics. This is the motor used for the vertical thruster on the balooncraft 2000. It is the same size as the KP-00 but has a higher voltage wind. Gear ratio is 4.8 to 1.

Ralph,

Thanks for the info! I have a couple more question, though! How many JST connectors did you use? I couldn't see in the pic but are the connectors arranged in a 'Garrett Rx' configuration or did you solder them to the receiver close the plug itself--leaving no slack? Thanks!

James:
I used one connecter pair for rudder and one for elevater. The lead length is about 1.5 inches from the receiver. The mated connecters are between the DPC boards which does not show in the picture.

What kind of gear are you using? Thanks!
