Hey!! to all you guys out there with Mini-Ts. Rosewood is having a special for all who come to race them here. For a limited time, the entry fee for the Mini-T class is only 10 dollars. Right now, the rules are stock motors, up to 6 cell battery packs, bearings ok, oil shocks, and foam tires. Rubber tires are ok, but the foams handle a lot nicer. We'd like to keep it easy for someone new to come and join without spending for motors and radio gear and stuff.

So come on out with the MIni-T and enjoy!

Hopefully, this could lead to something similar in the 1/18th micro class,,,,

Would the Losi speed motor be considered stock?

For some reason, Laso considers them stock. If so, why change it I asked. I was told they go just a little bit faster than stock. So, to me that sounds like it's not stock. I think it would be okay to use it, but I'd have my stock motor in the box just in case.
I see that motor as a logical upgrade to the dead stock truck unlike a Mambo or Big Block. We'd lke to keep them pretty close to stock so a new guy could come out and run and not get beat by 50 laps because he didn't buy a killer motor. Like in Cary, the T's there are all running the stock and speed motor, but unlike Laso's oval, the onroad course negates the slight speed advantage of the "speed" motor, so for the most part, they are all running about the same speed. It's a lot more driving ability than speed that gets them around the track there.

As for the Carisma cars, these things come preassembled, ready to run. Compleate. Even comes with batteries for the radio. You can get them right now at Glenn's Hobby corner, (Rosewood R/C), and Laso Raceway. The whole box sells for like 100 bucks. And unlike the things at Radio Shack, if these break, there are replacement parts for them. Only weird thing about these cars though,,, if it's any kind of Ferrari, it comes unassembled. No-ones figured that one out. If it's red, it's in peices, any other color, it's ready to go. Not that it takes long to put together, it's just weird.
