Hi all,
Not exactly a micro: here is a photo (if it works) of a StarLite that I enlarged. It has a 48" span, and everything is scaled up accordingly except that I made the fuselage narrower (just wide enough for my Hitec 3channel am equipment. It is powered by an MG-1 motor and 6 270 mah cells (from surplus cordless phone packs). Covering is food wrap.
I test flew the model today with great results. It climbs well, can tolerate some wind (even hovers or rises vertically) and is very stable. I'm looking forward to some thermal hunting with this one!
