I imagine that the CC controller can't be too far from prod. I've been waiting around to see my TC3 BL in action also. I think it's getting close though, I'm going to start holding my breath  :o

From what was said in a previous thread, I don't think the CC controller would be able to replace a 18.97 i.e. it seems the new CC controller we are all waiting for will be excellent to power 1/10 car but will have limits in both cells count and max Amp.

Someone said it will be up to 12 cells ( or 4s Lipo ) only and will handle 80 Amp continuous, no more.

The 18.97 is a different beast because it handle 18 cells and 97 cont / 110 Peak - Read schulze did it to power Monster trucks, not typical 1/10 relatively light cars.

I think the new CC is geared to be a good replacement for a U-Force 75 ( 12 cells max, 75 Amp cont ), but don't expect it to match the power of a 18.97.

ya thats waht i was thinking, i was using a baracuda 80 in my emaxx but i want brakes and rev, i heard it was gonna be pretty much teh same controller but with these features and a better startup for the application.

however i have burnt up 4 baracuda's (non in my maxx tho, all in boats), so i think i might try the schulze.

starluck, are you guys selling schulze? there are a bunch of uk dealers with the 18.97 for under 300usd, but i cant find any american suppliers that can match that.

If they are under $300, then they are most likely not the kw version for the E-Maxx. I'm lucky to buy them as a dealer for that.
