Here's my tiny, done at last!

The spec's are......

All up flying weight - 136 grams / 4.75 ounces.

Motor - DC1717 11:8 to 1 w/ Braun prop
ESC - JMP/HF9
Reciever - Hitec feather
Servos - 2 GWS 5.9 gram BB sub micro
Battery - 9 120mah NIMH for 9.9V

I made my own wheels by laminating contest balsa to 1/32 lite ply, spinning them on a dremel tool and sanding. The final touch was alum tube hubs and black magic marker. They only weigh 2.8 grams finished and ready to roll. I colored the airframe components with highliters before assembly. I haven't had a chance to fly it yet because of unseasonably windy conditions here in New Mexico and lack of indoor facilities.

Happy flying!

Jim

That is a beautiful Tiny. I have to get one one of these days. How did you do the coloring on the ribs and spars? It is really neat.

I just bought a cheap package of "highliters" from office depot. I read in RCMicroflight about a person coloring his plane with magic markers before he covered it with clear mylar. I decided to try highliters and was pleased with the results.

Thanks for the compliment...

Happy Flying!
