Here's my contribution to the flock of Tinys already pictured here. Details and more pictures can be found on my tiny page (http://pease1.sr.unh.edu/aew/rc/tiny/)

Hey Allan,
That's got to be the best looking Tiny I've seen yet! The Reynolds Crystal Teal really does a number on it. Excellent!

Thanks for the compliments Jim. I went for the contrast for two reasons. First I thought it would look neat and second, working with the mylar is a lot harder than the wrap.
I'll let you know how she flies when I get a calm night. The past month has been bad for that. New England has some arctic 'cell' thinggy over it and our wind has been an average of 12+ mph for what seems like 5 weeks running - argh!

Nice.....
I see you did the mod on the GWS drive suggested in an earlier addition of RCMicro. I feel your pain concerning the wind. I was told when I recently moved to New Mexico that it was very dry with hardly any wind except for a month and a half in spring.
This information was one of the factors contributing to my desire to build airplanes again. Well of course the year I move here the weather changes. It's been record rainfall up here (it is a desert you know) and the wind hasn't let up since late May.
Must be La Nina or El Nino or whatever....
Good luck flying your Tiny.

The gearbox mod was simple - took about 10 minutes to do. Only thing is with the mod the stick mount isn't secure enough to rely on just it to hold the motor on. I added a zip-tie around the motor and stick to secure the assembly on.
So far - So good..... Looking for a sunset patrol or dawn attack in my near future. I have a small yard, but I'm hoping with some practice this will be able to fly there. If not next step is some form of mini-IFO.
