I just saw on their website (http://www.brushless-motor.com/carsNtrucks.htm) that they have a motor and controller combo coming out soon for 1/10th scale and another one for monster trucks... the main reason for my interest in this system is that it's made in the USA... better support for us here. Does anyone have any news concerning this new motor/controller combo?

the CP50s motor is available now.. it's comparable to a Hacker B50s, or Feigao 540s, but the CP motors have slightly more power, at the sacrafice of slightly higher amp draw. Won't comment on the controllers, because I havn't talked to Donnie in a while to know the latest info, but perhaps Studysession could give information if he's alowed :)

I have one of their smaller motors for my helicopter, and it seems like a very nice motor. Much better than the Himax I replaced. I also like the idea of made in USA, hopefully I won't need customer support. :p

my guess.. they've been working on building motors and getting speed controllers instead of updating the site w/ every little update...

As for the controllers - they are solid. I have been running them and couple others from different manufactures over this past summer. Good stuff. I have not ran the Chili Pepper motors yet. I have 2 of the 50S motors coming in a couple of weeks.

That's very decent! Sounds like a good quality system for the price of a novak when it was new. Now let's see what CC brings...:D
