Here's my Lil Hornet before the second round of test flying. Flies really good and I am pleased, as this is my first electric. I enjoy being able to fly 2 streets over from my house!!! http://www.rcmicroflight.com/upload/LilHornet.jpg

Flight times are 9-10 minutes with 720 mah NiMH. Weight RTF is right at 10 oz.

Nice plane, where did you get the plans from?
or did you buy it ;)

I agree with your sentiments Slick. I think that's why most of us are so excited about the micro revolution. If I couldn't walk down the street and fly, well I just wouldn't get to.

Forget those noisy smelly IC engines and the clubs that are required to fly them.

Happy Flying!

That looks great!!! I'm sure it gives great performance. I was just wondering where you got the plans or kit it is from (so maybe I'll make one!). Thanks for sharing.

Edit: I found the Lil Hornet at HobbyPeople here: http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/883375.htm. (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/883375.htm) There's no descripton, though. Here it is too: http://www.nesail.com/hornet.html

Been out of pocket for a while, so sorry for the delay in answering any questions. The kit is manufactured by MM GliderTech, but I purchased it from Dave Thacker at Radical R/C (www.radicalrc.com I believe).
