Found a Weedeater engine today. Where? LOL.. You don't wanna know.. Anyways, while at work I was thinking of ideas to do with it. So far I am blank, except for a large Airboat. It would look actually real, not some ugly custom thing. Although it would be custom.

I am bored. Need to pass time while I wait for parts and stuff for my mono.

Any other input?

Well a airboat will be good, the weedeater engine has low rpm but high torque. It will swing a large prop like 18x8, somewhere around there. Won't be blistering fast or anything, but will be fun. I have seen them in boats like enforcers, since there air cooled. They ran about 30mph, not fast but easy to run & reliable.

I'm working on a scale airboat now, 2.6ft x 3.6ft, powered with a nitro 1.08 :D

Don't wanna have to deal with the hassle of a hull. This engine isn't worth putting into a decent hull.

Make a airboat out of a Boogie Board or something then. That pretty easy, and you can get a BB for under 20.00.

Never thought of a boogie board. I will probably just make a custom airboat. Since the Eagle SGX won't be availble until mid or late feburary or later.. :(
