what's the best nitro% to put in a big block motor (wasp 28)?

Usually without an extra headshim 25% is as high as you want to go.Im not sure how many headshims the wasp .28 has If it only has one shim then you will need to add another to run 30%,but if it has 2 or more it should be able torun 30% without pre detonation

I run trinity 20%. Should be fine for the wasp .28

I'm running a Wasp 28(In my savage) with Blue Thunder 20% and it works great(BTW, this engine makes a Savage fly....not as powerful as the SH, but stock gearing, it's a blast)
Although that's the same fuel i use for every engine I own.

20% fuel and plenty of oil content ,synthetic and castrol blend @ 12percent, should do the trick, that forumula should apply to both sm, bb engines, RED
