How to open Basic series motor ?

Hi everybody.

Before asking, I used the search function with no luck, so here it is.

Just received a Basic 5300 and wondering how to open it. Are the end bells on both side popped-in or screwed-in. The shaft side bell is thicker, so I guess I open it on this side. But do I pry it out or screw it out.

I think they are threaded, but you don't want to take it apart dude ! Leave the motor work to electricians . LOL !

If you take it apart becareful not to get the rotor close to any metal. The magnets are very very strong. It will also pick up metalic particles if you put it down in the wrong spot, put it in a plastic bag or somewhere clean.
