This is my latest effort and is about 75% finished. It is a Bristol Scout F of 1914 vintage. The wingspan is 32" and the uncovered airframe weighs 3.6 ounces. There is almost 380 square inches of wing area. The planned power is a 280. GWS equipment and should have a flying weight of 10-11 ounces. It was designed using TurboCad.

Faint applause issues from an unknown place and slowly increased in volume until it is a deafening roar. Amidst all the clamour, a revolutionary plane is rolled onto the tarmac....

Thanks Guys. I drew the plans to stay practiced with CAD and did not intend to build it and it just happened. For some reason I like the WWI and the "Golden Age" periods of aviation. There seems to be an honesty to the design - maybe low engine power and attention to aeronautics.

The Pup never got painted or decorated and is a good flyer. It had normal teething problems that boiled down to not having fully charged cells and I had to move stuff forward for proper balance. It likes to ROG rather than chucked. The second real flight, it got caught in a tree (I live in a redwood forest) when I tried to fly it in my driveway. I got it back and now head for the local school to fly.

Blackhawk - why don't you give us a lesson in decorating. I would like to make "decals" on the inkjet and could use your experience. I noticed that your birds always sparkle.
