I want to cut the tread on my old stock tires and reglue the tread for a more agressive snow tire. I tried metal snips, wire cutters and even scissors, but I can't cut them. I don't have any lexan scissors but I could get some. I'm using thick CA to reglue them, is this the best glue to use? Help would be nice :D
Gate cutters work real good.So will a roto tool

I don't have a rotary otherwise I would of use one, and I don't have gate cutters either. Thanks anyway.

I use a set lexan body scissors the best tool I've found. Diagonal cutters also work well.

I used a pair of wire cutters and a drim sander that fit on my Dremel.

real tire groovers are like a soldering iron or a wood burner, with a tip that's a loop. never tried making my own though. i'm contemplating cutting down my sand paw paddles, but i'm not sure if i'll be able to get them all even.
