I guess i should clarify, this is my first Nitro truck, I've had quite a few electric Losi's and RC10t's over the years, I'm tired of charging batteries and getting beat by my nitro buddy

Who's wallet is that ss coming from? J/k seems like a lot. Anyways just think of what you need,a dn think ofd the process. First, you need a truck. Ok, how are you going to build it? Tools. Next, how will the transmitter and reciever work? Batteries. Wait, Do I have those? Next, how wil I run my truck. You need fuel, plenty of glow plugs, glow starter, fuel bottle, servos, etc. Then think of your body, paint, etc. Most of the time, Tower lists what you need to get the truck up and running.

im paying for the radio and electronics. but the rest is my xmas present.

question: i have some pactra spray paint for the lexan bodies, is there any paint that goes on the body after the colors? like a flat white or black? a link to some would be nice!

As long as its poly carb paint, it'll be fine. Use a couple thin coats, and you know it goes inside right? I was wondering about maintence, what steps and precautions o I need to take to keep it goimg for awhile, and how long will the motor last if I do? I picked thw Savage because it is the best one I found with the widest variety of upgrades available later on by the way :D

gearing is a little different i believe, (better on the ss). the ss has a better pipe. it doesn't come with a rotostart or reverse module.

ive talked to guys who have got 6 gallons out of a s-25, so that is a decent life.

i know what you mean about building, i enjoy building as much or more than running them.
