alrighty, from the complete close position, how many turns out is a good start to tune it, i got a .15 ae engine in there, not very powerful, i just want it to engage, and its so off, it never turns, so... whats a good starting place, like the standard i guess i should say

Adjust the two-speed in small increments. Never turn the adjustment screw more than 1/8 turn at a time before testing the shift point. This is a fine adjustment, and can get way off base quickly if large adjustments are made.

You need to work it out slowly until you find the right shift point. There is not a perfect starting point on this one. It took me a good 1/2 hour after changing my spur and pinion gear to adjust mine back to a good shift point. Mainly you have to listen to the engine whine up and make sure it does not continue to whine in First gear. If it holds First too long you need to adjust or if it kicks into second too early you need to tighten it.

When in doubt look for support on Traxxas Web site dude ;)
