Painting the SS5800

Are you able to paint the SS5800 Motor or will it just make it overheat easier?

paint is an insulator and would probably make the motor run hotter. You would probably void your warrenty too!

It would be cool if they made different colored rings for the novak. Not just purple.

Don't see why you would want to paint a motor...lol but no you shouldn't paint it it will cause excessive heat to buildup.
