Hey Fellas!

I just bought a Losi LST off ebay without radio and receiver for $400.00 and picked it up so no shipping either! And let me first just say THIS THING IS BIG AND BAD!! Truck was said to have about 8 tanks? It looks almost new and I installed my XXL and JR FM radio it already. Only problem is that the XXL has only 3 channels and the Losi needs 4 for reverse? So no reverse for me ut I never had it before so.......
Anyway I was wondering about a couple of things? First off i went to go start the truck and it runs for a few seconds and then when you hit the throttle it seems like it is choking and stalls? The LHS told me the cold weather and the fact that the guy who sold it was probably telling the truth when he said ony 8 tanks as that woudl make it alittel hard to start and go at first as it needs to be broken in still? Let me know what you think? Also any probs you know of please let me know what i should stock up on!
Now enough of that! I want to upgrade and was wondering what are some NICE tires and rims that will fit this truck? I like the 40 series tires. Will the standard bowties from Proline fit the truck? Also will stock MAXX rims fit the LST? Same goes for the 40 series velocity rims? I am not sure about what will fit and dont know what i should be lookingf fo when buying rims and tires? So let me know what a good setup of all round tires and rims would be especially fo jumping!
Here are some questions:

1. What size tires woulf fit the stock LST rim? Also what offset does this truck have? Does it require a 1/2 inche offset? What am i supposed to be looking for when looking to get rims and tires that will fit?
2. Will stock Maxx rims and tires fit the LST? Same goes for the Truckzilla rims?
3. What would you reccomend as the best setup for tires for all rounding but alot of jumping and stability whehnjumping?
4. What springs are the best for all round running?
5. Shouild I upgrade to the 26mm Hexxes from Proline?
6. What would a good replacement engine be? I want the baddest and fastest and most powerfull i could get!
7. And whatever else you thiink I should know about this truck!

Let me know guys and thanks alot for everything! Feel free to email me at anytime!

If you are going to run Proline 40 series disc w/ bowties you will need to get the 23ml hex adapters with the new disc wheels. However, the smaller wheel makes the truck run slower but the handling is very nice. Also, with this tire/wheel set up you save over a pound of weight.

For generall bashing I would stick with the Losi LST tires/wheels. I have put a set of Hot Bodiy 7inch tire/wheels. They are better overall, expecially on concrete, however they are very heavy.

To get the reverse you have to use a Y-harnass for the two steering servos. Any standard 14mm hub tires will fit it. No Offset is not mandatory.Yes to your second question. 40 series bow ties I have them on my LST. Yellow are best for bashing but I would go with the black springs. No just get the factory option ones from Losi. The stock engine is perfectly fine but if you want to go with more power go with the Collari .30. You can get it at werksracing.com .
