hi guys. i just joined. i've been searchin for a good rc forum and finally found one. so, first off, i was just worried if i run my t-maxx through mud it will screw up. also, i was lookin for some new shocks. i found some integy msr4's for $90 at a local shop and was thinkin bout them for x-mas. another question, i am getting a pro-line humvee h1 militia body and was wonderin if spray paint would be ok and if paintin the inside of the body would be better than painting the outside. also, just to get it by now, i've been into rc cars for 2 years and am prity knoledgebl, but want to learn more.

The integy shocks are very good. You're supposed to spray paint the inside of a body, if you paint the outside, the paint will scratch off. You can use spray paint, but only if it's safe on lexan. Another thing to keep in mind, is that some paints will scratch from the flexing of the body. My recommendation is to go to your LHS and pick up some paint.

am prity knoledgebl
kind of ironic?

Yah it's designed to go through mud. If you saw some of their first advetisements (when the t-maxx first came out), they had one of litterally caked all over in mud. That's definitely a sign that you should take it out there.

Only think you should worry about is the electronics and the engine. If you wrap the electronics in balloons or cover them with plasti-dip you can seal out the excessive moisture of the mud. You have to be careful with the engine as well. If you run it in mud levels higher than the air filter, you'll end up sucking water and dirt into the engine, so keep that in mind.
