My Revo has been sitting in my room for months collecting dust (Literally), so here's the things I remember that I have done:
Weight: Unknown.
Installed P2 Rockers.
Different Spring Rates.
50 Wt. Oil All around.
Installed FOC.
Close Ratio 2-speed.
Removed 1 steering servo.
Shaved down one side of the servo saver arms.
Moved throttle servo to steering servo slot.
Removed throttle/reverse servo box.
Custom Linkage.
Removed EZ-Start.
Installed Pullstart.
Removed Bumpers.
Removed Rollbar.
Removed Trannygaurd.
Pro-Line Aluminum Hexes.
Pro-Line 40 Series Dish Rims.
Pro-Line 40 Series Bow Ties.
Some $120 JR High Torque Servo.
I had a lot more things to do, but after taking a 2 year break and getting back into r/c, I can honestly say the fun went away for me. I bought an E-Maxx before the Revo from my friend and I was upgrading the weak points, and it has never even seen dirt ..
My MGT weights 10.6lbs
- Proline Velocity wheels
- Proline Maxx size Bowties
- RPM A-Arms (8)
- Fantom tuned pipe + Side header
- FOK
- Airtronics FM Receiver
- Removed shock reservoir
- Shock red springs (8)
- Installed bearings (4) for the bellcrank
- Venom Hump pack
- Dynamite Micro Failsafe

Slaf... i follow alot of your posts on the MGT forum as I may be getting one soon.. anyway, how do you guys weigh your trucks, I would like to weigh mine as it is a light truck to begin with but I have mods to it.
Mine is:
-Tamiya TNX
-Stock .18 OS
-New Era .21 chassis, but motor is mounted forward for lower CoG
-Sport maxx wheels
-Proline Bowties
-Converted to a 4 shock system, and have made the truck sit real low...used to run Trinity dual rates, will not say what I run now. :D
-Cut bumpers for weight loss.
I think thats about it.
JamminJay -> I use a digital food scale from WalMart (Around 45$). I bought it for my wife's birthday :)

I've got a digital postal scale by My Weigh, their Ultra 30, accurate to 0.1oz. USPS Click-N-Ship is the reason I have a good scale.
Now, Tmaxx #1 weights 9lb 6oz, basically stock, except for rx pac,trx lower chassis braces, SportMaxx wheels and SportTrax tires, alum strg kit with bearings and 645MG servo with kim 124 saver, still running 2.5. Wheelie machine!! Tire change made the difference! Runs really sweet @ about 5 qts.
Tmaxx #2 - 8lb 5 oz, scratch built, trx 7075-T6 alum race chassis and F&R bulks, HCR chassis braces, alum diff housings & pinion collars, FLM alum diff cups & modded ring gear, complete set RDL cvds, rustler tank, 6v flat pac strapped under chassis, SportMaxx wheels and SportTrax tires, FR18 with Sirio BB pipe (soon to be OS18 TM -its on my workbench), RPM A Arms, TI hinge pins, TI pivots balls, alum strg knuckles, HCR alum pivot ball caps, all hex screws 12.9 grade, Motorsaver AF, all rubber sealed bearings, 645MG strg servo, kimbrough 124 saver, 625MG T&B servo, Aerosticks carbon fiber turnbuckles, HB alum shocks (lots more in little pieces). The FR18 doesn't run like expected, no top end- figure an airleak somewhere, coming apart as soon as OS is swapped in.
TNX - 9lb 8.2oz - stone stock right now except for Proline 40series bowties and velocity wheels, have alum strg kit & brgs, rx pac and screw kit to add.
HB lightning PRO 1 - 7lb 7.8 oz, OS21RG with 063 pipe and finally,
Nitro 4TEC PRO, 3lbs 11.2oz, OS 12 Max, parking lot missle. I didn't realize until I weighed it just how light that little thing really is. Won't be going out with it when its windy, lol!

I bought an Escali scale. If you look up "escali" on ebay, there is a long list.
I think I have this one (at least it looks the same) that is precise to 0.1 oz, $26:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58269&item=3861973883&rd=1
Heres another one, same brand
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58269&item=3861958902&rd=1
The main thing to look at when selecting a scale is the maximum lb rating (ex. 30 lb) and the precision of the measurements (8 lb 9.2oz vs 9 lb)

Losi lst about 15lbs, I use it for pulling and full blown but whippins, anyway its just about all metal bumpers, skids, arms crazy nut head, imex jumbo claw dawgs, bad horsie diff lock, and so on, its not a big air getter but its still pretty fast, nothing close to my .21 maxx! Greg :D

Take it to a post-office and weight it. I did just that today.
Nitro Quake weighs 9lb-11ozs
Ofna MT3 rims
Zombie maxx tires
1/4 scale servo.
The servo itself is like 4oz so if I put the standard back in would be like 2oz lighter.

Would you like to sell that revo?Ah, probably not. I'm probably kick myself knowing I'd want to buy another Revo after a sold it. :o I'm just keeping it around just incase I get the itch to race again. Bought some parts to get my E-Maxx running today coincedently. I really wanted to drive it, but knowing me, I'd spend another $500+ on upgrades alone, again.
