Monster Truck Racing at Leisure Hours Raceway

Hi all, I haven't checked in here for a while. So I thought I'd see what's going on. Seems like slow go here in the Winter.

In case anyone here is interested Leisure has been holding monster truck racing on Saturdays at 6:30pm. They have been getting a darn good turn out recently.Doors open early in the morning and you pay 7 bucks to practice all day, then signup for MT racing is at 6:30, where you only need to give them another 5 bucks for two qualifiers and a main race. That's a darn good deal for about 12 hours of track time.

Me and my boys normally race electric off road on Friday nights there but recently I picked up a new Savage 25. I gotta tell you...racing it is a gas!

I'm trying to get a buddy from work out there who has a savage.....i just have stadium trucks, so not really considered "monster" trucks....

It's East on Caton Farm Rd between RT53 & Weber Rd. There is a 3 way stop-sign intersection (can't remember the name) but it is in the little industrial area south of Caton Farm.

I think it is just monster trucks.....I have seen stadium trucks run on Sundays....

Hi Kenji, Bruce here. It was nice to meet you at Leisure Hours (820 Brian Rd. Cresthill, IL) Regarding what are we racing? REVO's!!!!!!!! 70-75% of the trucks are Revos. I saw a stadium truck on the first race but I don't think they or truggies should be allowed. I also want to see two classes-small blocks and unlimited (big blocks).There should also be minimum tire sizes IMO.

This is so off the subject but I just wanna say Whats up to all you CHICAGO guys out there I used to live in Wauconda IL but in the military now in Kansas and gotta tell you I wish I was home now to do some racin there is nothing out here.

Alright... I'm kind of new to the scene and am starting in electric on-road but I have to say, Liesure is a great track. I have been there with several of my friends and have run a RC10-GT, T-Maxx, and an Ofna buggy. It is a great well rounded track and it is not always the same. My next car will be an Ofna Hyper 7 PCR so I hope to see you guys out there sometime.

Hey Guys- Kinda new here too. Just recently picked up and lst and got back into the sport alittle. So Leisure Hour's is the place. I'll have to get down there sometime. Maybe next weekend in fact. We'll see. If any of you are down there and see a blue lst with 7" hotbodies tires and a home made rollbar, come ssay hi. And if you don't see it you'll definetly hear it. Got a crazy loud racing pipe. I'll let you guys know later this week if I'll come down. Glad to see some people from chicago here!!!!

I'm not sure why it is, but I never see any E-Maxxes out there. I think if we could get enough people out there we could have a class of our own.
