I've seen references to "RTV" silicone. What does the "RTV" mean? I've looked for it at HomeDepot (caulking department) and all I can find is silicone, but nothing labeled as "RTV".
Thanks for any help,
R.

Um not sure what rtv means, but permatex makes the copper sealant. It says sensor safe. That is the stuff to use. Also, ask an employee. I do it all the time, and save a lot of time, especially when its in another part of the store.

RTV means "room temprature vulcanizing", which means it cures at room temp
