I just finished my RC10 T4 and after a few weeks with a 15 turn brush motor I am feeling like I should upgrade to brushless for more power and efficency.

I am wondering which brushless set you suggest and why? My price range is between $150-300 but basically just looking to get the best possible set up for my T4 possible.

Thanks

You can not say best possible right after you put a price range on it!

Try the new LRP Sphere with Reedy Neo sensored Brushless motor system that the street price is going for around $320.

Now if really want the best racing set up for the T-4, get the Schulze U-Force 75 and the Plettenberg Extreme 4 pole sensorless brushless motor system that you can buy for around $450 and spend another $50 for PC interface to fine tune it with automatic brake and numerous other settings. This is what I race with in my T-4 in 20 minute mains using the Thunder Power TP8000-2S4P Li-Po batteries. The gearing I run is 18/87 on the T-4.

Good luck!

The Novak SS5800 system includes the motor and ESC, all wired up for you, for a bit over $200. Mind you, it is not as super fast as most other BL systems that people use on this forum, but it's easy and fast and fun. Could be a good match for a stadium truck. I know it's a good match for my Pede.

Maybe a good question to ask is are you going to Bash or Race?

The Novak 5800SS will be fine to bash around with and is even ok for a short track, but will be a little under powered on the big tracks if you are going to race it.

Not to hijack, but what would be the best setup for top speed in j-no's price range? Or does it not really matter which one I pick?
