Xraym18 Please Help

Hi guys, Just got done building my xray m18....I have one problem with the car. It wont role freely. There is no motor attached to the car. However when I lift it of the ground the fours wheels spin smooth with no problems. Can anyone help me out? .....Thanks

off the ground, you roll smooth, on the ground what happens?

Also, ummm are the diffs in the right way? Like if you roll just the back wheels tothe front wheels want to roll forward?

When I roll the car on the ground it feels ruff and does not free roll at all.

what happens when you roll it only on it front wheels? only on its back wheels? Might help you isolate the binding.

I'm guessing one diff is in backwards, in which case when you roll it only on its front wheels, its back wheels will rotate in the opposite direction.

Try switching the positions of the small spring oiless dampers.

Mine had some binding when I first built it as well.

Is it all stock?

Also check if anything is binding thru the driveline from the wheels to the spur.

DUCATI77 & STF hit the nail right on the head..The diff was backwards..the car run smooth now..The only thing i hate about the xray is taking off the rims from the caps and idea guys on an easier way to remove them???

Also where can I buy the mamba system and which one do ya recommend?????

SFT is the man? Sheesh I said that first... but no worries, its good to hear the car is fixed. I'm always glad to help if I can.
