I'm looking for a cool toolbox for my R/C stuff, any suggestions? I've been searching the net for a couple hours, but all I find is nothing or crap. Please suggest a website and/or brand for me, ok? Thanks a TON, guys.

BTW, no word on an Associated T4 at the Chicago Hobby Show, eh?

They said "I doubt were going to make one within a year."-they're just probably saying that because they want the truck to be a suprise http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Dang it, don't tease me TA! All I want is a straight answer. Think about it, the T3 has been out since '97 (?); they've gotta be brewing something up. But then again, they just released the new team kits...

Crap, I wish I just knew the truth.

I kind of like Associated's view of things though: "if it ain't broke don't fix it, if its still a winner don't replace it". At least they aren't like Losi and come out with a new model every 6 months.

I don't know how cool they look but Meijers has big tackle boxes that have lotsa compartments in them for screws and tools and stuff.

Do you have a URL for that toolbox manufacturer's website?

I also agree with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" idea, but what I would like are some new usability improvements as well as the inevitable cooler design that is sure to come.

OK, if you guys don't have any web addresses where I can find/buy a cool toolbox, how about this? If you have a cool toolbox for R/C stuff, where did you buy it and what brand is it? I want to find one with enough room for a lot of toos and other stuff, also with small compartments for screws, etc. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks.

Great tackle box fromk plano, avail at Kmarts. The Plano 1234 has removable boxes that you can exchange for other boxes that are easy to find, so you can setup your box for differet car parts quickly with a couple extra small boxes. http://www.planomolding.com/tackle/New%20Pages/ProductPage7.html

Well, it looks like there should be a great box for me from Plano, but I just hope a local store has what I want. Any more suggestions or opinions are still welcome.

i went to home depot with 20 bux and bought a 27" tool box made ouyt of a really thick plastic, the only prob the box is heavy empty, it is black and you can mount a surge protector under the lid so you can plug in stuff, i cut out a side and put my charger faceplate outside and the tub inside and i could charge without opening the box, also it is wide enough to hold a buggy or stadium truck on top so you could make litle mounts for em to stay on, it has a top tray too the comparments arent that samll but i use a fishing box that is 3"x4" and it has samll compartments for screws and such.

plano makes to cool tackle boxes that are great for rc stuff. one is green and kacki colored and has parts bokes that come out and a top compartment. the other is gray, black, and clear blue and has drawers. it is a litle biger than the first one. i might get it.

Thanks, dudes, I agree. I've found a few different Plano models that look very promising. I'm planning on getting one of those and a good Sanyo 2400 pack for Christmas. Man, I can't wait until I get my T3. My RC10T is cool, but I really dig T3s. As soon as my college sends me my scholarship check for next semester I'm ALL OVER my local track and the Factory Team T3 they're going to sell me. Sheish, I love racing...

Um........ It kinda sounds like you already have your mind set, but I went to my local outdoor store, and found a tackle box that was HUGE!! It looked like it could carry all the R/C Cars you wanted around in it. It looks so big though, it would be heavy to lug around. I THINK it was a Plano, but not sure. If I find out exactly, I'll let you know.
