Brushless Motors And ESCs

I was thinking on going brushless on my Zig Zag Racer 2 and was wondering if the new motor would require a speed control replacement as well. Any input is appreciated. Thanks...

brushless motors need brushless speed controls. they aren't compatible with brushed ESC's.
