unless you do not want to use one of those channels, you can use a 2 channel reciever with a 3 channel remote.

Can you use a 3 channel rx w/ a 2 channel tx? If I wanted to use an Airtronics CX2P, with a Hitec DCX could I?

I know you can use a receiver with more channels than the transmitter because the airplane radio I just bought is a 4ch and comes with a 7ch receiver. I'm not sure of the less channels on the receiver end though.

If you have a 3 channel radio, you can use a 2 channel reciever, but you can only use 2 channels, making the third useless. You can use a 3 channel reciever with a 2 channel radio, but again, you will only be able to use 2 channels. You should put some type of cover over the extra plug hole, so as to keep out all of the gunk.

I drive my 4-TEC with my T-Maxx Tx to save batteries.

Rc10Gt,

Yes you can use a DCX with your airtronics but you will have to get a DCX ment for airtronics(should say on the box and reciever) :)
