I ordered a radio from them earlier this month and got it in two business days because that is the type of shipping I paid for. They use Fed Ex, at least that is how my shipment arrived. Overall my experience was good and they were cheaper then Tower by a about $10.

I must first say, support your LHS when and if you can. My LHS is severly lacking on in stock items but he can order just about anything. But if I need an item in a real hury I go online and purchase it.
Tower is a good place to buy things online and so is Hobby People. There are a lot of great places to buy online but I tend to stick with the ones that advertise in RCCA.
Just my thoughts,

I third in saying support your LHS. Mines the same as Jerry's; they don't stock a lot because its a small store but they can order anything and I do mean anything RC related. Plus its usually there within 5 days or so-almost beats online stores. Just try to support your LHS as much as possible. Without them this hobby never would have gotten to the point that it is.

I don't want to support my LHS, I order from tower only, unless I go to another place which is more expensive, but the people are nice and the shop is really nice (they even have an indoor carpet track). At my LHS, the guy is a real dirt bag. He treats people like idiots, he has out of date & overpriced merchandise, and he doesn't know anything about RC. I asked to see stock motors, and he looked at me like I had 2 heads.
So I do all my shopping from Tower. No problems yet.

Throttle Hapie,
Unfortunately your experience isn't uncommon. I don't support going to your LHS just because it is a LHS. They need to be worth going to but I am a supporter of LHSs that actually do care about thier customers. If you use the carpet track and want to keep using it I would suggest, only my opinion, at least buying your basic supplys that are cheaper then the S&H charges like CA, Thread Lock, Nitro Fuel, or things along that line. I am not going to order glow plugs online because they are about $3.50 each and shipping is around $6.99. I live in a Town/City of about 100,000 people and we don't have but one LHS and he has the only track. Unfortunately it is a dirt oval an I don't have a dirt oval car. I am not going to tear up my L3O on his track. :)
Well I think we have taken this off the subject far enough. :D Hobby People and Tower are both fine companies to buy from and very few have had any real problems.
