Well i found out that the Rustler is the same as the Bandit except that it has different tires and a buggy body. which is better? the Kyosho or Traxxas? I went onto the chat and everyone felt real strong about the Kyosho. i know that everyone says that the Rustler is fun. I have heard that alot but supposedly its fun until u get a 'real' truck. so what are the forum peoples' opinion? thanks. all replies will help.

Go for whatever you LHS has more support for.

the Rustler is a bit more than a "trucked" Bandit. It uses the same chassis, but employs longer suspension arms. So, it's exactly a Bandit with a truck body mounted on it. For example, to convert a Bandit to a Rustler one would have to buy the longer arms, longer drive shafts, the taller body mounts, Rustler wheels/tires/hex adapters, and a body.

I have the Ultima RB and it's the funnest buggy car I've ever had (electric). I've used bandits but the Ultima is much more fun especially if you get the kit and tune it yourself.

Good choice, I have an ultima, and its good when its not broken. The topshaft breaks like a twig.

Kyosho makes a lightened shaft out of better material. i just ordered one and will try it out soon.

Why? Jwelch might want to know about the shaft since his (and mine) is always breaking. just passing off some info, just because it's not useful to you, doesn't mean it's not useful for anyone else. I looked over the 'rules' and I'm well with-in reason. Also, you could have just as easily skipped over this topic. Way back in the middle of June... OH MY GOD ! This is ANCIENT!!!
