I recently got my old Big Brute truck out, charged the batteries, and it ran just fine. Since parts are rare, I have decided to give it new life by selling it. This truck has never seen water, snow, or mud (just dirt, grass, and asphalt). It is mostly all original, the speed control and body are the only things I have changed. I even have the original assembly instruction booklet. Ready to Run, just add batteries, radio system comes with vehicle. If you are interested please e-mail me at "canislupus1_69@hotmail.com" (if the attachments below do not work I have photos I can forward to you) or you may call me at "(765) 426-2013" between 0700 & 1500.

Hi, I'm a newbie to the forum. If you are still looking for tires I put proline monster mashers (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSTA5&P=7) on mine. However, the truck is on ebay right now because I do not have the time for the big brute. I have to confess, that I have become a Tamiya man.

I have my old Big Brute, a friends old Double Dare, and a DD parts chassis. I want to build a DD out of these parts but I forgot the cure for the steering knuckles. From what I remember that's what put our trucks out of commission 20 years ago. I am seriously considering adapting 8th scale arms/axles/knuckles to it and using my Monster Blazer wheels on it. The problem is the distance between to upper and lower arm mounts on the gearboxes is huge. That will make some crazy suspension geometry. I also HATE the steering setup on these trucks. Does anyone know of a bellcrank conversion for these chassis? I remember the USA-1 guys were doing all kinds of mods to these chassis and RCCA had an article on a USA-1 build up maybe in the last 10 years. I have the issue in my archives but they used alot of then-out-of-production parts so it doesn't help me much. Any help would be appreciated.
