I picked up a .61 (10cc) nitro motor and have been looking for a pipe for it. Will a pipe for a .65 or .67 work for this? I dont see too much out there for the .61 I dont know too much about the technical side of these. I do know the back pressure is required to get these motors to peak performance but I am not sure how calculated these pipes are from size to size.

I appreciate that. Here is what I noticed. The second one lists it fits from 11cc to 15cc and states that translates to .61 to.91. Other soucres tell me .61 = 10cc and .67 =11cc. To restate my original question a pipe for a .65/.67 should fit a .61 with out any real trouble to the powerband? There seems to be some conflicting info from different sources about the conversion from cc's to decimal.

Well, my handy calculator tells me that .61ci=9.9961cc. So, the sources that tell you .61=10cc are right, however, I doubt it would make a huge difference. If you're that conerned, just go with the first one (it says for .61-.65).

They are called "TUNE PIPES" because they can be tuned. The manufactor's make them to be used for a range. Its up to you to tune it!!!

Kinda like this OS has a .40 & Thunder Tiger has a .42. Same pipe to be used for both.

Like I said, I dont know too much about these things. All of your help is appreciated. Now about headers. My engine has the exhaust off the back and has a round flange right off the motor's case. I'm going to assume that I can use a silicone coupler to a pipe right from this flange meaning I don't need a header. Is this right???
