For those of you interested in a chat that don't know how to set one up, and don't use AIM or other such things, I've got something that should make this easier.
http://wilderness.homeip.net/cotharyus/chat/
you should be able to type in a username and password (make one up, but remember it, because that will be your account on the chat) and log in.
Anyone interested in a slightly more configurable interface might check out:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/puttytel.exe
Save that to your desktop, double click it, and it will open up - where it says host type in wilderness.homeip.net and where it says port, type in 4000 - click open, type in a user name and password, and you're good to go.
