buggy tank

i have a buggy tank from a kyocho inferno and i wanna put it into my maxx... will it be better than the stock tank? at the last race i was at the engine was leaning out at half tank and i was hurting and eatin' plugs...

also... n e way i can do this without modding the chassis aside from drill holes? i cant seem to get it to sit rite without moving alot around...

mount the tank where the receiver batts. are. use a flat receiver pack mounted under the chassis...

ya i was thinking or sitting it there.... will the battery not get banged up? my buddy has his mounted near his front bumper... and it holds it there well...

i have the mags from when slayden did the mods and mine can/will be similar... i dont wanna use a rustler tank becuz 1) i wont be racing the truck this yr... i had the thought of it but img onna run my buggy.... 2) i dont wanna coem in after 6-7 min of running... with the stock tank i got close to 10 min b4 i need fuel... with a buggy tank i can see the same run time.. but thanx for the idea i gapped that and will probably steal sum ideas from slayden :D

If you can, get the mugen mbx5 fuel tank. The height of mbx5 tank much lower compare to others, that's mean lower CG. good luck..

i got an inferno tank for nuttin' so im gonna use that..... if i get the chance i will get a mugen tho :)
