i just bought a savage .25, that has a mach .26, rbinnovations supercharger and 1 inch extended tvp's. the problem i am having is the clutch was apart when i got the truck, when i went to put it back together, i noticed the flywheel wasnt the right one for the supercharger. i figured no big deal, i would just pull the charger for now and run it without it. well with everything put back together there is about a 1/8 inch gap from the end of the clutch bell to the end of the crank. the bell i got with the truck is a stock hpi 15 tooth, is the hpi bell thinner than the mach .26 bell? are all of the big block clutch bells similar or the same? i'm stumped on this one. thanks.

okay thanks for the reply. really wasnt ever planning on running it anyways. it just seemed odd to have the crank sticking out that far from the clutch bell.

HPI uses a thick brass one to fill the gap but any washer(s) will do, or you could dremel the shaft some.
Did you sell your Maxx? Did you have to give much for your new Savage? I hear the mach 26 is an awesome engine.
I ordered the sh .28 for my Savage. Some extended TVPs would come in handy about now. LOL

i sold the maxx for 275.00 and picked up my savage for 335.00 shipped. i ended up finding some brass washers from hpi that are 5x10mm and 3mm thick. these were perfect for the difference in length. the mach .26 is just plain nasty. i need to replace the piston and sleeve (will be here thurs) but even with the piston and sleeve worn it is just sick fast. i got a really good deal on it. mach .26 with new stock head, nova racing head, brand new maxx mulchers on maxximizer beadlocks, hitec radio and reciever, 645mg steering servo, purple extended tvps, stock tvps, polished pipe, hardened drive cups and shafts, set of stock shocks, set of purple threaded body hot bodies shocks, rb innovations supercharger with under and overdrive pulleys and a bunch of extras. so i figure 335.00 shipped was a pretty smoking deal.

Very good deal and those washers were the ones I was talking about. I noticed last weekend that mine got offcenter somehow and the bearing kinda turned it around and bent it all out of round. Looked pretty funny.
Does it have the 4 gear spider mod yet?

yup, i just forgot to list that too. basically it was complete minus body, clutch bell and a few little things. i have it apart right now but when i get the engine back together, i will post some pics of it and my monster gt. its also got the integy body mounts, fuel tank guard, fuel tank posts and a bunch of other aluminum stuff. i was running the stock rims on it yesterday and spun an aluminum wheel hub stripping the hex on the rim. im just going to get some stock hexes and ca them into the rim.
