how the **** do you change spurs gears on the maxx with out removing the tranny ,is there a way or not
i can not see enough room there to remove the spur

its the only easy way traxxas says u only have to "loosen the engine and remove the tank"..... but its b/s...

I only remove the fuel tank and use that included Z-shaped wrench.

I have nerver moved the engine, just take the fuel tank out and there should be penty of room.

If you have the EZ start, you might need to move the engine, but if you're using some kind of pull or roto, then just take out the tank.
