:confused: i like to upgrade my savage 25 with the onfna picco 26 engine
but i like to know what parts in my standar savage 25 i have to
upgrade too. the parts name and number,I am new in r/c cars
and parts.

4 spider diffs, HD bones, HD cups

First of all, stick w/ the Picco .26 and not the Fantom .27.
Then go for the 4 spider gears in the diffs, and if you have the money, MIP CVD's all around. HD bones suck. Dogbones in general SUCK.
HPI87193 - 4 Bevel gear diff mod, you'll need 2 of 'em
MIP1540 - You'll need two sets. They're more expensive than HD dogbones, but they're worth every penny.
PS. Set your gear mesh right and don't hit anything hard enough to bend the chassis and plastic spur gears will survive without any problems. If you destroy a bunch of plastic ones a decide to upgrade, then don't go cheap. Get the Robinson Racing hardened steel setup...

i also have a picco .26, just havent installed it yet. my question is do i need anything extra to put the roto start onto the picco? Sorry mautoys for butting in on your thread

DON'T use the Rotostart on the Picco .26. You'll go through one-ways like water...

For $100 you can send your old engine to HPI and they'll trade it out for the new .28 in the Savage 4.6.

Really? I haven't heard about that engine swap-out?
