On 12 cells with a basic 4200 will this esc be ok? This would be a 80 amp or 120 amp controler.

I know it is at it's limit cell wise.

Thank You

It should be okay. The MGM is rated to handle a maximum of 12 cells or 4s Lipo, so I don't see why not.

You will be pushing the motor to the max on 12 cells. Lehner doesn't recommend anything over 8 or 10 I think. Unless you are talking about the Basic XL.

No I am talking about the regular basic.

Thank You, just wanted to be sure.

The XL and regular both have the same PRM limits. The MGM can handle 12 cells, but you have to be careful with the BEC - don't stall a high powered digital servo because at high volts, the BEC can't suppply too much power w/o getting really hot.

Alright, know worries there since it is only one servo which is a hitec 645MG.

Thank You for the help.
