I have had a problem with my reciever not getting signal and very bad twitching in my servo. So I changed the servo and it is still there. Tried another receiver and radio combo and the glitching still was there. Now the esc wont even make the signal beeps at startup or make the beep that it has found the radio signal and my servo just jumps to one side when it gets power (on both radio combos). My motor would also just stutter as if a wire was not plugged in. If I got it to run it would do so for 30 seconds and then die and do nothing but maybe a servo twitching epileptically.
So I have a new motor coming in and a new receiver. Just for future reference if this doesn't clear it up, where do I send my controller to get serviced? I know they are german but would there be someone I can talk to personally?

You might be able to send it to Jamie, who could probably send it to Shulze for you. Or, if someone knows the instructions for sending stuff to Shulze, then they can tell you.

I htink jamie might be my best bet so far. I cant find anything on their site except a tech e-mail and the last time I mailed them they didnt respond. I wonder if I called the tech number if they would speak english.
I have only had this controller for about 4 months I wonder if they have a warranty plan, for $280 it would be nice if they did!

Sounds like you need to try powering the same radio gear with a 4 cell pack directly(with the U-Force unplugged of course) and see if the problem clears up.

I dont understand what you mean, a reciever pack? That would clear it up if the bec was bad then I'd still have to send it in to be serviced. And keep in mind that I have tried 2 different radio gears and got a new servo yesterday (semi-high quality). They both had the same problems. I figured the motor might be screwing it up also so now I have a new feigao 8s coming soon (I also have a new xxl receiver coming in next week). I took apart the case and peeled back a little piece of the silicone where the motor connectors enter the controller and it looks like one overheated! How could this happen?!? The solder does not look like the rest of the plugs (kind of looks as if it got hot enough to melt). I dont understand how this could have happened, I used 10 gauge wire on it for gods sake so there is no resistance issues. They do look a little dirty on the inside but I regularly cleaned them with a q-tip.

Well the radio gear should work without any motor connected to the U-Force. I was just suggesting you verify the radio gear is 100% by powering the radio gear with a battery pack, if it works fine with the battery pack then you know forsure its the U-Force.
Do you have any pictures of your installation?

Maybe it's a bad receiver or radio?

I guess I should wait for my new receiver and motor, I just was wondering if anyone knew where I would have to send it or if anyone has had an item service form schulze before.

Your first step should be to contact the store you purchased it from, if they won't help you then you'll need to send it directly to Schulze in Germany.

I bought it from starluck, and have yet to talk to him about it. I will wait until I have it completly narrowed down to the controller before I send it to anyone.

Sounds like you did not take out the plugs on the ESC before you soldered it. You soldered them while hooked up to the ESC that puts alot of heat into the ESC that is not good on the circuitry. You will need to send this Schulze in Germany and be prepared to pay for this damage that they will take about 2 weeks to turn around and get back to you.

No I took them out. Im no fool. Like I said I have been running this controller for about 4 or 5 months now. It just happened last week.

Sorry! Sounds like a short around one of the plugs if it is burnt around the plug. Looks like you will be sending it off to repair for some burnt circuitry. Constant thermal overloading or battery shorting out or a bad solder joint and even a bad plug connection can cause this.

No offense taken, the plug is a little worn and on occasion would pop out under an impact. Its not burnt but I can tell that the solder looks different on one plug than all the rest, so there proabably is a short. Damn!!! Oh well I will wait and see if my new equipment is any help. My reciever had crapped out on me before, but then mysteriously began working again.

If the plug popped out while under a load, it probably shorted something out in the ESC.
Good luck!

Ugghhh!!! It has been three days since I mailed them and still no response. This may be a very stupid question......but they do speak english right? I guess I am impatient also. Has anyone ever had to mail them before?

I've emailed them before and received a reply from Matthias(the boss man himself) within 15 minutes. Did you use "hotline at schulze-elektronik-gmbh.com" ?

Update: I just got a mail back and am confused by one part it reads.......
Always add a proforma invoice outside and a copy of it inside of the parcel with this value.
Otherwise we have to pay custom duties on our own product!
.....Does this mean that I have to add an invoice for the sake of U.S. Customs so they dont incur extra costs? And if so then will USPS guide me through this process? This is the first time I will be mailing outside the U.S.

It means add a proof of purchase on the outside that the customs department in Germany can see so they know Schulze is not paying for it and thats its being sent back for warranty purposes. So declare it as warranty return and ensure a copy of your purchase invoice is also attached on the outside of the box.
